North Shore Engagement Session at a Historic Estate

Engagement

Jamie and Nick’s North Shore engagement session took place at a historic coastal estate on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Open lawns, ocean views, and soft afternoon light created a beautiful setting. The atmosphere felt relaxed, and the entire session unfolded naturally.

They first met while traveling in Aruba, and their connection came easily from the beginning. That same ease carried through their session. Many of the strongest photographs happened in the in-between moments, when they were simply walking, laughing, or talking together.

A Setting That Matched Their Vision

Jamie and Nick are planning a Glen Manor wedding, and this historic coastal estate felt like the perfect match for their vision. The architecture, gardens, and open landscape reflected the chic and timeless atmosphere they love.

This location remains carefully preserved. Because of that, sessions require a permit and following a few guidelines. Even with those rules in place, the setting remains one of the most beautiful places for engagement photos on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

Natural Moments and Gentle Direction

During the session, I offered gentle guidance while allowing space for movement and natural interaction. Playing music and keeping the atmosphere relaxed helped them settle in quickly and enjoy the experience together.

Above all, their connection felt comfortable and effortless, which made photographing them feel natural as well. Some of my favorite images from this session came from simple moments, when they were moving, laughing, or quietly interacting together.
