Romantic summer wedding portraits with Montanna and Nathan.

Boston Public Garden wedding portraits are always beautiful, but Montanna and Nathan’s summer evening in the heart of the city felt especially magical. Before celebrating with family and friends at their destination wedding later this year, they chose to capture this season of life with portraits in the city they love. With lush willow trees, glowing sunset light, and one of Boston’s most iconic landscapes surrounding us, their vision of an enchanted, ethereal garden came to life.
This wasn’t the first time we’d photographed together. I first met Montanna and Nathan during their engagement session at the Boston Public Library in 2025, so it was especially meaningful to reconnect for another milestone before their fall celebration.
The two met on Hinge, share a love of travel, and got engaged over Christmas in London. Rather than planning portraits around a traditional wedding venue, they chose Boston because it’s where they live and where so much of their story has unfolded.
After a hot June day, the temperature eased as the sun started to drop, leaving that lingering evening light that makes summer in Boston feel so special.
The gardens were busy enough to feel alive without being crowded. As we walked through the pathways, people smiled, stopped to congratulate them, and shared in the excitement. Those small interactions are part of what makes photographing in the Public Garden so unique—you never feel tucked away from the city, but you can still find quiet moments together.
When Montanna described her vision as dreamy, romantic, and ethereal, I immediately pictured the glowing light reflecting across the pond and the lush greenery that makes the Public Garden so timeless.
I always draw inspiration from the location while staying true to each couple’s personalities. Rather than overly posed images, we focused on natural movement, genuine connection, and creating Boston Public Garden wedding portraits that feel effortless and timeless.

After delivering their gallery, Montanna & Nathan shared:
“I’m OBSESSED omg, thank you for being a part of our milestones. You are lovely to work with.”
Receiving messages like this is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
If you’re dreaming of Boston Public Garden wedding portraits or planning a wedding anywhere in Boston or New England, I’d love to help tell your story. Whether you’re celebrating with an intimate ceremony, destination wedding, or simply documenting this exciting season together, my goal is to create photographs that feel natural, timeless, and true to you.
