A Boston Public Library engagement session featuring classic architecture, soft light, and candid moments.

Montanna and Nathan’s Boston Public Library engagement session felt thoughtful, personal, and full of small, meaningful moments. We met at the library an hour before it opened to the public, which gave us time to explore the space without crowds.
They connected quickly when they first met, bonding over long conversations, shared humor, and a natural curiosity about the world around them. That same easy connection carried through their session. Their laughter came easily, and the quieter moments felt just as natural.
Montanna and Nathan love to travel together, and Nathan proposed in London on the steps near Big Ben during a trip that meant a lot to them both. The surprise was perfectly timed, and the moment was captured quietly as it unfolded, which made the memory even more meaningful.

The Boston Public Library always feels especially beautiful in the early morning. Soft window light fills the hallways, and the architecture naturally becomes the focus. It felt like the perfect setting for Montanna and Nathan, who were drawn to a mix of candid moments and more dramatic, editorial portraits.
They especially loved images with movement—walking through corridors, moving along staircases, and looking at each other. We moved through the library slowly and let each space guide us. The quiet corners, sweeping architecture, and soft light made it easy to create images that felt both personal and expressive, while still reflecting the timeless character of the space.

Engagement sessions are about more than just photos. They give you time to slow down, get comfortable in front of the camera, and create space for natural moments to unfold.
