Kathryn and Rob’s wedding day began with a meaningful ceremony at the same Milton church where Rob’s parents were married. It was a beautiful full-circle moment for their families. After the ceremony, everyone gathered at Granite Links in Quincy to celebrate with views of the Boston skyline.

With ten hours of coverage, the day unfolded naturally. We documented quiet moments before the ceremony and, later, a lively evening on the dance floor. Kathryn and Rob truly love photographs. Because of that, capturing both the big moments and the quiet in-between ones felt especially meaningful.

Their wedding style felt timeless and joyful. The day was formal yet vibrant, filled with rich blues, colorful details, and the warm light of a sunny September afternoon.

A Classic Granite Links Wedding with Skyline Views

Granite Links is one of the most scenic wedding venues near Boston. The venue sits in Quincy and offers panoramic views of the city skyline.

One of the best parts of photographing weddings here is how the light changes throughout the evening. As the sun begins to set behind the city, the landscape softens and the entire property glows. Because of this, Granite Links is one of my favorite places for sunset portraits near Boston.

As the evening approaches, sunset portraits often become a highlight of the day. Kathryn and Rob stepped away just before sunset when the skyline softened and the light turned warm across the golf course.

These portraits are often the most relaxed moments of the day. They give couples a chance to slow down and enjoy a few quiet minutes together before the reception continues.
