From getting ready to the last dance, here’s how I make your wedding photography experience easy & enjoyable.

With so many moving parts, it can be hard to imagine exactly what your wedding photography experience will be like. As your photographer, it’s my goal to help you feel at ease and to ensure you truly see yourselves in your wedding photos. I’ll be there to preserve the moments you’ll look back on and smile about for years to come as well as support you through every step so you can feel prepared and confident heading into your wedding day.
Even before your wedding, I want to get to know you and your story. Building that connection is what helps us make your wedding photography experience the best it can be!
Most couples reach out about 12–18 months in advance, which gives us plenty of time to plan and dream together. Once your booking is official, I’ll send you a full wedding guide that I’ve created just for my couples. It includes everything from vendor recommendations to tips for planning your family photo lists. I also share insights I’ve learned as a Boston wedding photographer and other helpful resources you can apply no matter where your wedding takes place. If you’ve booked an engagement session, you’ll get a separate guide and questionnaire so you can feel prepared and excited for the day.
As your wedding day approaches, I’ll check in at key points along the way, including twelve and six months out. I’ll see how planning is going and help in any way that I can. I also like to ask if you’re considering adding a second photographer, videographer, or content creator and am happy to provide any recommendations you may need. This helps ensure you’re booking vendors whose style and values align with your vision while also allowing everything to feel seamless and cohesive!
About three months before your wedding, we’ll start finalizing your full photography timeline. I’ll send you a detailed questionnaire about must-have photos, family groupings, and special details you want captured. This helps me focus on what matters most to you and make sure our plan fits perfectly with your venue and schedule.

On your wedding day, I’ll meet you wherever you’re getting ready and say hello. As you settle into your morning, I’ll mostly step back and photograph the details like flat lays and attire. I will also make sure to preserve any final touches and document the quiet, in-between moments.
Along with photographing your morning, I’ll help with little things, like lending a hand with shoes, pinning boutonnieres, or adjusting your veil. If we have a second photographer, they’ll be with your partner, capturing their own set of details. During this time, I’m here to help keep things running smoothly while letting the day unfold naturally.

This is when the information you shared in your pre-wedding questionnaire becomes important as it shows me exactly what to focus on. That could be your partner’s reaction as you walk down the aisle or any meaningful rituals like a handfasting ceremony. It’s also important to me to document the people and emotions that make your day uniquely yours. This includes adapting to anything from weather changes to quick wardrobe fixes, all while staying quietly present in the background. If we have a second photographer, they’ll be capturing your ceremony from different angles so that you can relive the moment from multiple perspectives.
Many couples choose to do a first look so they can enjoy cocktail hour with guests. If you do, I’ll act like your personal paparazzi, catching candid laughs, hugs, and spontaneous group photos!
When it’s time for portraits, I’ll guide you through what to expect so the hour feels relaxed and intentional. Rather than pose you for every photo, my approach is to focus on classic portraits with gentle guidance. You’ll see me offer small prompts and subtle movements so you can feel natural and at ease.
If we’re covering lots of wedding party and family photos, a second photographer can help make sure we capture everything.

During your reception, I’ll coordinate with your vendors on timing so every detail flows seamlessly. I specifically will check in with your DJ to confirm when toasts, dances, or other moments will happen so that we’re all in sync. When it comes to the dance floor, I’m right there in the middle of it all! As you laugh and celebrate with your loved ones, I’m working hard to preserve the joy of the night for you to relive again and again.

While it might seem like there are so many details to think about, my priority as your wedding photographer is to make sure you can relax and truly enjoy your day. I want your photography experience to feel easy, seamless, and fun.
To help with that, I create a personalized itinerary for your wedding. It covers everything including locations, phone numbers, day-of contacts, and special requests, so you don’t have to worry about a thing and can simply be present.
My approach is always about documenting your celebration in an honest, emotional, and timeless way. Years from now, I want your photos to bring back the same warm feelings and meaningful memories you experienced on your wedding day.
If this sounds like the experience you’re looking for, I’d love to connect. Inquire with me here, and let’s create something beautiful together.
