Intimate Garden Micro Wedding at Blithewold Manor

Blithewold Manor in Bristol, RI

Diana and Zachary chose Blithewold Manor in Bristol, Rhode Island, as the perfect setting for their intimate garden micro wedding. This 33-acre summer estate offers lush gardens, an expansive mansion, and stunning views of Narragansett Bay, providing the ideal backdrop for their special day. It was my first time visiting Blithewold, and the beauty of the location was breathtaking.

Diana is a Boston-based personal trainer and content creator, and Zachary is a fitness manager and personal trainer. They share a deep connection through their love of fitness. What stood out to me throughout the day was their genuine love for each other. The couple wanted a quiet, intimate celebration with their closest family and friends, and Blithewold Manor offered exactly that.

They wanted everything at one location, and Blithewold Manor gave them the quiet, intimate setting they were looking for. The day began with a ceremony on the lawn, overlooking the water and gardens. Bright, colorful florals from PrimRose Floral Design added the perfect summer touch. They blended tradition with modern elegance, signing the ketubah under a beautiful chuppah. They also included the symbolic stepping on glass, and Koda, their dog, served as the ring bearer!

Some of my favorite moments were the portraits of Diana and Zachary right after the ceremony. It was a wonderful experience to photograph a micro wedding at such a grand estate. The quiet moments of just the two of them, walking the grounds with Koda, were incredibly meaningful. Their love and connection is undeniable! They took the time to enjoy a few private moments together before heading to cocktail hour.

The intimate dinner reception was just as special, with elegant flowers, a champagne tower, and a small cake cutting. It was a reminder that smaller weddings can be just as personalized and meaningful as larger ones, allowing couples to truly take in each moment. The following day, they celebrated with over 100 guests in Boston, but their wedding day itself was all about their love and commitment.
